We Made Bacon Quiche!

One of the all time favorite dishes to make for breakfast, brunch - really anytime! This is a quick, simple recipe that anyone can whip up. Here's how we made ours:



INGREDIENTS:

  • 7 strips of bacon (I'll use more next time -lol)

  • 6 eggs

  • 2 green onion stalks

  • 1 pie crust

  • 3/4 cup of half & half (or heavy cream)

  • 1/2 red bell pepper

  • 1 cup of shredded cheese ( I used sharp cheddar and mozzarella)

  • 1/2 Tsp salt

  • 1/2 Tsp fresh black pepper

  • 1 Tsp garlic powder

  • 1 Tsp onion powder


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees

  2. If using a pre-made pie crust, poke holes on the bottom with a fork

  3. Let it bake for about 10 minutes

  4. Then fry your bacon, put on plate with paper towel , when cool crumble

  5. In a mixing bowl, add the eggs, onions, heavy cream, cheese, bacon, sale & pepper and any other seasonings you like (I used garlic powder and onion powder)

  6. Mix well

  7. Once the pie crust is cool, pour the mixture into the shell (only 3/4 full)

  8. Place in oven and bake for about 45 minutes (or until done. keep checking.)


Let cool and enjoy!
