We made Bacon and Cheese Crepes

Wow! So yummy. You can make these crepes sweet, savory or both!




Here's how we made ours:


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of all purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup of white sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • Farmers cheese (with bacon in it)

  • 3 or 4 strips of bacon (to crumble on top)

  • 2 cups of milk

  • 4 Tbs of unsalted butter

  • 1 Tbs of vanilla

  • 1/4 Tsp of salt

  • Whipping cream (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Whisk together well

  2. Fry up your bacon and let cool - then crumble

  3. Add the 4 eggs to the dry mix - beat well until smooth

  4. Slowly add the milk

  5. Add 1 Tbs of vanilla - mix well

  6. Place some butter on your crepe pan and melt it on med heat

  7. Ladle enough batter into the pan

  8. Let cook until the edges are golden brown. Then flip it over

  9. When the second side is done - remove to another plate

  10. After you have all your crepes - lay the crepe flat on a surface

  11. Spread the cheese on the crepe.

  12. Fold the crepe

  13. Put more button on the crepe pan and heat up the crepe so the cheese on the inside melts

  14. Remove from heat, top with whip cream and the extra bacon crumbles!


Serve and enjoy!
