How to Make Bacon, Garlic Naan & Butter Chicken

Super delicious and no yeast needed to make this bacon naan bread!


Here's what you'll need for the Butter Chicken: -1 pound of chicken -Knob of garlic -1-2 onions -5-6 garlic cloves -6 Tbsp of olive oil -1/2 cup of butter (Ghee is best) -Plus additional stick of butter (unsalted) -2 Tbsp smoked paprika -3 Tbsp tumeric -2 Tbsp chili powder -2 Tbsp corriander -2 Tbsp cummin -2 Tbsp curry paste or powder -i jar or can of tomato sauce -1 Tbsp oregano -3 Tbsp tomato paste -1 cup of heavy cream

DIRECTIONS: -Dice up the chicken breast (set aside) -In a food processor, pulse the ginger, garlic and onions. Then puree -In a pot, add the butter/ghee -Then add the tumeric, chili powder, corriander, cumin, curry, smoked paprika. Cook on low/med heat for 20 minutes -After 20 minutes, add the tomato paste, tomato sauce & oregano. Simmer for one hour.

Now start on naan bread, here is what you will need: -2 cups of flour -Salt -1 Tsp sugar -1/2 cup of plain yogurt -2 Tbsp oil -1/2 Tsp baking powder -1/4 baking soda -6 slices of bacon -a sprig of cilantro -4 to 5 garlic cloves -bowl of warm water

DIRECTIONS: -Fry the bacon, drain on paper towels and set aside -Chop/grate the garlic cloves -In a bowl, mx the flour, salt, yogurt, oil, 1/2 of the garlic you grated/chopped, baking powder and baking soda -Mix the ingredients with your hands until you form a dough ball. -You will need warm water on your hands or a small amt added to mix -Once done - flatten it in your bowl and cover and let sit for 15 minutes, or until it has risen. -Once done, pinch some off and roll it out on a floured surface. -Roll to 1/4 of an inch. Oval shape. Add garlic, bacon that you've crumbled and some of the cilantro. -Roll it again to smash those bits into the dough -Flip it over and rub the other side with warm water. -Put in a hot pan -water side down. Watch for it to bubble -Once it is browned enough on the back, flip over

MEANWHILE, after one hour - put your diced chicken into the Butter Chicken sauce you have simmering. Simmer for 10 more minutes. -Then after 10 minutes, add a cup of heavy cream and the stick of butter -Continue rolling out the rest of your naan bread. -Brush each piece with melted butter as they come out of the pan

Serve with the Butter Chicken and enjoy!
