Super simple and super versatile. Can be a side dish or add some protein to turn it into a main entrée! Here's how we made ours:
INGREDIENTS
Half a cabbage
2-3 cloves of garlic
Half an onion (we used red and white)
6-7 strips of bacon
1/2 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp pepper
1 Tsp smoked paprika
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut up your bacon into half inch pieces and fry til done
Let bacon drain on paper towel. Reserve drippings in pan
Sautee cabbage in the bacon drippings
After a few minutes add salt, pepper, paprika
Cover with lid to let cabbage render faster
Add onions and continue to mix and render down
Add garlic stir for another minute
Add bacon and stir - let sit for a minute
Platter and serve! Enjoy!
