INGREDIENTS:
For the sauce:
8 oz of your favorite BBQ sauce
1/8 cup of your favorite bourbon
For the rub:
6 slices of bacon
1 to 2 pounds of chicken
2 Tsp of kosher salt
1 Tsp of ground white pepper
1/2 Tsp of garlic powder
1/2 Tsp of onion powder
2 Tbsp of paprika
3 Tbsp of dark brown sugar
1 Tbsp of smoked paprika
INSTRUCTIONS:
Soak your wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes beforehand
In a bowl whisk the BBQ sauce and bourbon together, set aside
Heat your grill
Cut your chicken breasts into bite sized pieces
Chop your bacon in 1 to half inch pieces
Put the bacon and all dry ingredients into a food processor and pulse
Coat the paste all over your chicken
Skewer the chicken
Place on grill - 5 minutes on first side
Flip over after 5 minutes and slather BBQ sauce mix on kebabs
Flip over again after 5 minutes and slater sauce again
Grill each side for another minute a piece - - or until done
Serve and enjoy!
