Try this scrumptious way to make onion rings! No frying!
INGREDIENTS (for rings):
2 to 3 large white onions
1 pound of bacon
INGREDIENTS (for dressing)
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of mayo
1/4 cup of heavy cream
1 Tsp of salt
1 Tsp of thyme
1 Tsp of dill
1 Tsp of onion powder
1 Tsp of garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Slice the onions into rings
Wrap each ring with bacon strips until completely covered
Bake in oven for 25-35 minutes (depends on thickness of bacon)
Cook on broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to get bacon crispier
For the dressing
Mix the sour cream, mayo and dry ingredients in a bowl
Slowly add the heavy cream
Cover and let chill in fridge for at least one hour
Serve and enjoy!
